Iran to make proper decision on US Congress move on Wednesday

President Hassan Rouhani said Iran’s Special Board Monitoring JCPOA Implementation will decide on the recent decision by the US Congress on extending anti-Iran sanctions on Wednesday.

The President made the remarks here on Tuesday in a gathering of students in Tehran University on the occasion of the University Students’ Day.

His remarks referred to the latest anti-Iran move made by the US Congress that voted on December 1st unanimously on renewal of the Iran Sanctions Act (ISA) which is set to be expired by the end of 2016.

He stressed that even if the US president vetoes parts of the Congress’ decision, Iran will show due reactions to the remaining sections which stand in violation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Stressing that the US could in no possible manner influence the will of Iran, he said the Iranian nation will never allow the US administration to tear away the nuclear deal.

President Rouhani said Iranians will never let America do that.
