Israeli forces have conducted an airstrike targeting a weapons depot located south of Damascus

According to reports from Arab sources, the Israeli government has conducted an airstrike targeting a weapons depot located in southern Syria.

Al Jazeera has reported that a military weapons depot owned by the Syrian army, located near Izra in the Daraa Governorate approximately 70 kilometers south of Damascus, has been targeted and bombed.

A series of explosions were reported following an air raid.

In a dramatic turn of events, the Syrian government was toppled early on Sunday, bringing an abrupt conclusion to President Bashar al-Assad’s 24-year tenure. This unexpected development occurred after the militant group Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) launched an incursion into the capital, Damascus, successfully taking control.
