Syrian Army units inflict heavy losses on terrorists in different areas

The army continued its operations against armed terrorist groups in several areas across Syria, inflicting heavy losses upon them and destroying their weapons and equipment.

Army units eliminate terrorists, destroy their hideouts in Damascus Countryside

Army units carried out a series of operation in the Eastern Ghouta area and elsewhere in Damascus Countryside.

The operations resulted in the elimination of many terrorists including two leaders of terrorist groups, in addition to destroying weapons and ammo and dismantling many explosive devices rigged for detonation in al-Mleiha and its farms and near Tameco pharmaceutical company.

An army unit destroyed a terrorist hideout in Aliya farms in Douma area along with assorted weapons and ammo inside it, eliminating a number of terrorists including Mohammad al-Daqr and Ezzo Dalwan.

In Erbin, most members of a terrorist groups were eliminated including Muwaffaq al-Naddaf, while clashed between an army unit and a terrorist group east of Jobar left a number of terrorists dead or injured.

A terrorist hideout was destroyed in the mountains east of al-Zabadani and most of the terrorists inside it were eliminated, including Obada al-Zein and Amr Abu Hamad, while operations in the town of Daraya inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists.

Terrorists suffer heavy losses in Homs

Units of the army inflicted heavy losses on armed terrorist groups in al-Ghanto, al-Mashjar al-Janoubi, Beit Rabia, Talbiseh, Beit Hajjo, al-Sain, Um Sharshouh, al-Dar al-Kabira and Ein Hussein in Homs countryside and destroyed their weapons.

A unit of the army killed or injured all members of an armed terrorist group in al-Waer neighborhood in Homs city, while other units targeted terrorist hideouts in the neighborhoods of Job al-Jandalo, Bab Houd and Jouret al-Shiyah, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

Another unit destroyed two cars equipped with heavy machineguns and a rocket launcher in Homs countryside.

the source told SANA reporter that units of the Syrian Arab Army confronted on Sunday an armed terrorist group’s attack on Taloul al-Hawa village in eastern part of Homs countryside and eliminated all its members.

The army units destroyed a terrorist den in Talbiseh used by terrorists as headquarters and for wiretapping, killing and injuring all the terrorists inside it.

The army also eliminated a number of terrorists and injured others in the areas of al-Bardeh, al-Bosairi, al-Habra, Tal al-Hawa, al-Shendakhiye, Oum al-Saharij, al-Sjomariye, Khribet al-Hamra, al-Halmouz, and al-Qaryaten.

Non-Syrian terrorists killed, weapons caches destroyed in Lattakia

Units of the armed forces killed numbers of terrorists, including non-Syrian leaders of terrorist groups, in a number of villages and towns in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

The operations targeted terrorist gatherings in the areas of al-Sukkariye, al-Rabi’a, al-Gharz, Jabal al-Nisr, Nabe’a al-Murr, Jabal al-Kouz, and al-Nab’ain.

Two caches for storing rockets and making explosive devices, seven mortar launchers, and two rocket launch pads were destroyed in the operations, in addition to cars rigged to launch rockets.

Army units foil terrorist attempt to infiltrate into al-Lairamon and al-Zahra in Aleppo

A military source told SANA reporter that a unit of the army foiled an armed terrorist group’s attempt to infiltrate into al-Lairamon and al-Zahraa areas in Aleppo and killed several terrorists and detonated a tunnel used by terrorists surrounding the Castle towards al-Swieka area.

In the same context, army units destroyed terrorists’ weapons caches in Khan al-Assal, causing huge explosions and killing scores of terrorists.

A military source said army units destroyed a terrorist den in Bianon in Aleppo countryside and killed 20 foreign terrorists.

A military source said that army units destroyed a terrorists’ den in Bayanoun, killing 20 foreign terrorists and foiled a terrorists’ attempt of infiltration in al-Layramoun and al-Zahra, killing many of them, in addition to destroying a tunnel in the surrounding of Aleppo Citadel, eliminating all the terrorists inside.

The source added that army units also destroyed terrorists’ caches of weapons and ammunition in Khan al-Asal, causing big explosions where many terrorists were killed or injured and their weapons were destroyed.

The source said that army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the area surrounding the central prison, the industrial city, al-Jbeileh, al-Ramousa, Andan, Azan, Bayanoun, al-Layramoun, Ettin, Atareb, al-Khasseh, Mare’, Bustan al-Qaser, al-Shahed, al-Rashedin, al-Sheikh Said and Shantaret al-Hajeb, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

Army eliminates terrorists in many neighborhoods in Deir Ezzor

The army units killed and injured scores of terrorists in the neighborhoods of al-Hweiqa, al-Rashdyeh, al-Orfi, al-Matar al-Qadem, al-Sinaa and al-Sheikh Yaseen in Deir Ezzor city.

A source in the province told SANA that the army destroyed two terrorists’ hideouts in al-Jbailah neighborhood and in Bour Said Street, eliminating all terrorists in the hideouts.
