Protests against police brutality continue in Missouri

The protests in Missouri continue with no sign of abating as the demonstrators accuse the police of brutality and discrimination against African-Americans.
A fresh wave of demonstrations came as the governor of Missouri ordered National Guard soldiers to join the riot police amid mounting racial tension.
On Sunday, Missouri Governor Jay Nixon declared a state of emergency and a curfew in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson.
The protests began after police shot dead Michael Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old black teen.
The family of slain Brown has appealed for calm. They said their son was not “perfect” but criticized a police attempt to “justify the execution-style murder.”
A preliminary private autopsy has found that Brown was shot at least six times, including twice in the head.
