Spokesman Vows Iran’s Harsh Response to Israel, US

The spokesperson for the Iranian Armed Forces said the Islamic Republic will definitely give a tough response to the Zionist regime and the US for the military strikes that resulted in the martyrdom of a number of Iranian commanders and officials on Friday morning.

Speaking to the state TV on Friday morning, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi said the enemy has made a dire mistake by attacking Iran.

He told the Iranian nation not to worry at all, giving assurances that the Armed Forces are fully prepared for retaliatory action.

General Shekarchi said the Zionist enemy has launched “savage strikes”on residential areas with the help of the US.

The enemy will pay a heavy price and must wait for a “tough response” by the Armed Forces of Iran, the spokesman said.

The Iranian Armed Forces are a hundred percent prepared and will definitely give a heavy response, he stated.

The spokesman confirmed that the houses of a number of officials have been targeted in the attacks, resulting in the martyrdom of authorities and civilians.

The Zionist regime and US will receive a “harsh slap” in the face, General Shekarchi stated.
