Thirteen security forces killed in Syria

A local newspaper has reported that fresh clashes in the city of Homs have claimed the life of at least 13 army and security personnel and injured up to one hundred others.

The violence erupted on Thursday as army and security personnel were conducting “qualitative and delicate” operations trying to track down armed groups who have being hiding in crowded areas, Xinhua reported.

Hundreds have lost their lives in some protest rallies that turned into armed clashes between alleged protesters and state security forces as well as organized attacks by well-armed gangs against the Syrian police force and border guards in north of the country. The gangs are clearly supported by US, France, Zionist Israel and their regional allies. All Syrians strongly protest the interference of these government  and blame these countries for the instability in their homeland.

Syrian state TV has broadcast reports and images of seizing weapons caches as well as the confessions of elements detailing how they obtained arms from foreign sources.
